MAIN REASONS TO CHOOSE ''MECHANICAL ENGINEERING''

If you ask an engineering expert of any stream about ''Which is the Evergreen branch of engineering?'' then without a doubt he/she will say ''Mechanical Engineering’’, If you don't believe me then try asking "Google'' about the same and the answer will be the same as well because it is the truth. Mechanical engineering has so many career options that other engineering streams don’t have. Career options like the automobile industry, robotics industry, design industry, production industry, manufacturing industry, etc. come under mechanical engineering. Hence, in this blog I will discuss the main reasons to choose mechanical engineering so, here are the following main reasons to choose mechanical engineering.

1] MECHANICAL ENGINEERS ARE MULTISKILLED:- If you go through the syllabus of mechanical engineering then you will observe that the syllabus involves knowledgeable and industrial information and the study of other engineering branches like there is a subject called structural programming approach in the first year of mechanical engineering. From this subject, you will get knowledge of C-language, java, and coding. So, one can say that mechanical engineers also have a working knowledge of computer applications. like this, mechanical engineers have a working knowledge of electrical and electronics, structures, materials, production, the automobile because of subjects like basic electrical and electronics engineering, industrial electronics, engineering mechanics, metrology and quality engineering, production process, Internal combustion engines and automobile engineering which are involved in the syllabus of mechanical engineering. So, there is no doubt that mechanical engineers are multiskilled.

2]MECHANICAL ENGINEERS ENJOY GREAT STARTING SALARIES:- Earlier I explained that mechanical engineers are multiskilled and people with multiskills are highly valuable in society and their salaries reflect that fact.
Companies or organizations want to take advantage of the multiskills that mechanical engineer possesses and also they are aware of the potential of a mechanical engineer and hence, companies offer great starting salaries, especially to mechanical engineers.

3]HUGE VARIETY OF COURSES AVAILABLE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING:- I describe mechanical engineering as a very interesting, curious and innovative stream of engineering and hence, there are plenty of courses are available in mechanical engineering. Courses like related to robotics, piping, automobile, HVAC, MEP, different kinds of design courses, mechatronics, nanotechnology, etc. These are just a few topics because more than 90 mechanical engineering courses are available which you can do after completing mechanical engineering. With such a wide range of courses are available, find something for you that suits you, make sure you do at least one of these courses because not only it will help you in the future but also companies will hire you rather than hiring a normal graduate guy because you have had done a particular course which is going to help the company only.

4]MECHANICAL ENGINEERS HAVE GOOD GRADUATE PROSPECTS: - As the world is growing at a rapid pace and industries becomes increasingly more advanced and complicated, they will definitely need more talented, creative, innovative and hardworking mechanical engineers. Mechanical engineers specifically apply physics laws to create and build extraordinary mechanical devices which peoples use every day. So there is no surprise to see that mechanical engineering students enjoy particularly good graduate prospects.

Why did I choose to become a "Mechanical Engineer”?

Hi everyone!!! So this is my first ever experience of writing a blog & hence for the very first blog I chose to reveal the secrets behind "why did I choose to become a mechanical engineer" or you can say "why did I choose Mechanical Engineering." So go through a journey of me becoming a mechanical engineer through this blog where I will share a story of me becoming a mechanical engineer from my school days to becoming a successful Mechanical engineer.

When I was a teenager, I always used to observe things surrounding me & after observing carefully there is a tsunami of questions used to come into my mind. The questions like why that particular thing is of that shape??Why that thing is made up of that material only?? How that machine works?? What will happen if there is a malfunction in that machine?? And many more questions like that... & It doesn't stop here I still remember I used to broke my electronic toys just to see the mechanism behind it and I always had fond of cars and bikes and machines. And also I always used like repairing and maintaining my bicycle by myself which showed the symptoms of the future engineer...there are many memories of childhood that I can relate to Mechanical Engineering, every single day of my childhood, I used to different types of experiments. I still remember that I watched a video in which they were showing that if you put a magnet in front of the screen of color TV then the screen of the TV will become black and white or something like that and so I decided to try that experiment on the Colour TV that we had and the experiment was failed miserably and the screen of the TV was malfunctioned...and after that, you can imagine the scenario.
So, after completing my 12th standard I researched a lot what stream to choose and tried to find the answers to all the questions and after that, the results came out which ultimately forced me to take Mechanical Engineering.
I think a blog is stretching a little bit longer now so, I'm going to stop here only. Thank you, everyone, for reading this blog. If you like this blog please comment on your thoughts as this is my first blog and Share this blog.
On my next blog, I will share with you the main reasons for choosing Mechanical engineering as a career.
